Babies don't need shoes until they're walking regularly outdoors (usually 9-14 months). Before then, soft booties or going barefoot is best for healthy foot development. Our First Steps collection is designed specifically for new walkers who need flexible, supportive shoes.

Yes! All our clothing is machine washable (cold water, tumble dry low). For shoes, we recommend spot cleaning or hand washing to maintain shape and durability. Full care instructions are included with every order.

Yes! This is one of our most common compliments. Our shoes feature stay-put elastic that's snug but not tight, plus designs that babies actually tolerate wearing. We've tested them on plenty of squirmy little feet!
